By October 1998 one Carniolan interracial hybrid and 6 intermissa interracial hybrids survived. In 2004 only the Carniolan and 2 intermissa interracial hybrids survive.

by itself varroa fall is not a valid indicator of susceptibility. The higher varroa fall in the intermissa group actually indicates a lower receptivity to varroa.
ヘギイタダニの落下自体は、感受性（感染のしやすさ）の有効な指標ではない。チュニジアグループのより高いヘギイタダニの落下は、実際にはヘギイタダニに対してより低い受容性を示唆している。
コメント
カーニオランも言うほど耐性はない。チュニジア蜂も徐々に衰退していっている。それでも死に絶えているわけでもない。

Reports of local tolerance and resistance to varroa mites in nonAfricanized Apis mellifera subspecies have been reported by Ruttner et al. (1984) in Uruguay; Ritter and Dejong (1984); Ritter (1990) in Tunisia; Walner (1990) in Austria; Kulincevic et al (1992) in Yugoslavia; Anderson (1994) in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia; Dejong (1997) in Brazil and Rinderer et al (1997) in Russia.
ウルグアイ、チュニジア、オーストリア、パプアニューギニアとインドネシア、ロシアにおいても非アフリカナイズドミツバチでないミツバチのヘギイタダニ耐性が報告されている。もっとも、その「ヘギイタダニ」が遺伝的に違うものかもしれないし、テスト期間が短すぎる等の問題があった。
